Annankangas wind farm in Raahe was completed in 2017. The wind farm is located on the southern side of the City of Raahe, at a distance of about 26 km from the town center.
The ten 3.45 MW WTGs were supplied by the Danish Vestas Wind System A/S. The main contractor was Eltel Networks Oy and the electrical substation supplier was ABB Oy.
The wind farm produces about 115,000 MWh of electricity per year, which corresponds to the annual electricity consumption of approximately 6,200 detached homes with electric heating.
