Suomen Hyötytuuli Oy has made a plan for wind farm of 10–15 wind turbine generators in the Hummastinvaara area in the City of Raahe. The Hummastinvaara wind farm area is located on the eastern side of the City of Raahe, at a distance of about 10 km from the town center. The eastern part of the area also extends to the municipality of Siikajoki.
