The project is developed in cooperation with Mets\u00e4hallitus.<\/em><br \/>\nThe overall height of the around 3.5 MW wind turbines is 210 meters. The contract negotiations on turbines, main contracting and delivery of electric stations are on the final straight.<br \/>\n\u2018This is already our third wind farm in Raahe. After completion of Annankangas and the Tahkoluoto offshore wind farm, our production capacity increases to nearly 150 MW,\u2019 says Toni Sulameri, Managing Director for Suomen Hy\u00f6tytuuli Oy.<br \/>\n\u2018The recently completed Nikkarinkaarto wind farm in Raahe was constructed within a year, according to schedule and budget,\u2019 says Harri Suutari, Project Manager for Suomen Hy\u00f6tytuuli Oy, responsible for the Annankangas wind farm project.<br \/>\nThe annual electricity production of Annankangas is about 120,000 MWh, corresponding to an annual electricity requirement of about 6,500 detached houses. The wind farm is located in the southern part of the city of Raahe, about 25 km from the centre.<br \/>\nSuomen Hy\u00f6tytuuli\u2019s wind farm at Kuljunniemi in Raahe has generated energy since 2004.
