Changes resulting from the name change will be carried out during the spring, and the companies will provide updates as the changes progress. Following the transaction, Arenso\u2019s offshore team has been transferred to the new company that continues its operations under the name Arenso. The initial focus of the new company will be on developing offshore technology and business. The research permits related to offshore wind projects in the EEZ are also included in the transaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the transaction, <a href=\"https:\/\/hyotytuuli.fi\/en\/arenso-oy-changes-its-name-to-hyotytuuli-services-oy\/\">the name of the old Arenso has been changed into Hy\u00f6tytuuli Services Oy, as was stated in the press release on April 1st<\/a>. Hy\u00f6tytuuli Services focuses on providing wind energy services to Suomen Hy\u00f6tytuuli Oy. Hy\u00f6tytuuli Services Oy is owned by the same eight Finnish city energy companies that own Suomen Hy\u00f6tytuuli.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The business transaction does not have an impact on the ownership or operations of Tahkoluoto Offshore Oy. Mr. Jaakko Kleemola has been appointed as CEO of Tahkoluoto Offshore Oy as of March 3, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Suomen Hy\u00f6tytuuli Oy <\/strong>is a forerunner of wind energy in Finland. The company has eight onshore wind farms in operation, one in test use and one offshore wind farm in Tahkoluoto. The company also has several wind energy projects under development. The overall annual production amounts to 1.9 terawatt hours. Suomen Hy\u00f6tytuuli Oy is owned by eight Finnish city energy companies. <strong>Hy\u00f6tytuuli Services Oy<\/strong> operates Suomen Hy\u00f6tytuuli and its wind energy projects and production.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Part of Arenso\u2019s operative management has bought the company\u2019s offshore wind business and brand.
