Vindparken placeras i Pesolaomr\u00e5det som finns i norra delen av Soini, som n\u00e4rmast ungef\u00e4r nio kilometer fr\u00e5n kommunens centrum. Pesolaomr\u00e5dets \u00f6stra del gr\u00e4nsar till kommunerna Kyyj\u00e4rvi och Karstula i Mellersta Finland. Omr\u00e5dets yta \u00e4r cirka 1 600 ha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Det planerade Pesolaomr\u00e5det h\u00f6r till det planerade omr\u00e5det Korkeanmaa och de utg\u00f6r tillsammans ett enhetligt omr\u00e5de i fr\u00e5ga om bed\u00f6mningen av milj\u00f6konsekvenser. MKB-f\u00f6rfarandet har slutf\u00f6rts.
