Operative management buy Arenso Oy’s offshore wind business
Part of Arenso’s operative management has bought the company’s offshore wind business and brand. Changes resulting from the name change will be carried out during the spring, and the companies will provide updates as the changes progress. Following the transaction, Arenso’s offshore team has been transferred to the new company that continues its operations under the name Arenso. The initial focus of the new company will be on developing offshore technology and business. The research permits related to offshore wind projects in the EEZ are also included in the transaction.
Following the transaction, the name of the old Arenso has been changed into Hyötytuuli Services Oy, as was stated in the press release on April 1st. Hyötytuuli Services focuses on providing wind energy services to Suomen Hyötytuuli Oy. Hyötytuuli Services Oy is owned by the same eight Finnish city energy companies that own Suomen Hyötytuuli.
