Construction work to begin at the Alajoki-Peuralinna wind farm
Suomen Hyötytuuli is about to start the construction of the Alajoki-Peuralinna wind farm. Infra Builders Oy (formerly NCC wind power unit) will act as the main contractor in the project. A contract has been concluded with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy AB for the supply of fourteen (14) SG 5.8-155 wind turbines. The substations will be supplied by Eltel Networks Oy. A contract for the supply of wind farm transformers has been concluded with ABB Power Grids Finland Oy.
The construction work will start with felling in February-March. The felling will start in Alajoki and gradually move to the Peuralinna area. Excavation work on roads and lifting areas will begin in March as felling progresses.
During the construction, special caution must be exercised on the wind farm area and on the roads leading to the wind farm. The access roads may be temporarily closed due to improvement works. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Construction signs with the necessary contact information will be placed along the roads leading to the wind farm (Pajulammintie and Peuralinnantie). In addition, we will also inform people of any road closures with separate signs.
