SUOMEN HYÖTYTUULI OY INVESTS IN RENEWABLE ENERGY OOSINSELKÄ WIND FARM WILL BE BUILT IN PORI AND EURAJOKI
Suomen Hyötytuuli Oy has made an investment decision to build Oosinselkä wind farm in Pori and its neighboring municipality Eurajoki, both located in Satakunta, Western Finland. The value of the investment is appr. 115 M€. The construction work will start in Spring 2022., and the wind farm is expected to reach full operations year end 2023.
The planned wind farm will consist of 15 turbines, with total production power of 93 MW. Five of the wind turbines are in Pori and 10 in Eurajoki. The company has signed a turbine supply contract with Vestas for EnVentus V162-6.2 MW turbines. Negotiations on other contracts are ongoing.
In addition to Oosinselkä investment, the company has two other investments, namely Polusjärvi wind farm in Pyhäjoki and Alajoki-Peuralinna wind farm in Perho and Kyyjärvi. These three investments will elevate company’s total production power up to 400 MW and the annual energy production up to 1200 GWh. All three wind farms are built fully commercial, i.e. subsidy free.
